I’m an actor, poet, playwright, stand-up comedian, blogger… and I’m just trying to do it all in good faith.
I hold Jerzy Grotowski as my personal patron saint of acting. I aspire to be one of his holy actors. I approach my acting with absolute reverence– as a carnal prayer.
While I was brought up in the well-meaning milieu of new age pseudo-science and recognize that actors are some of the most susceptible among us to superstition and wellness grifting, it is my ambition to redirect my energies as an actor toward work that doesn’t just serve myself or a faceless industry– but that serves our communities.
